Google has been doling out its utilities to Windows as well as Linux users. Google Desktop (a smart utility to search everything on your desktop quickly) is now available for Linux. Google had already introduced it for Windows and Mac long back.
According to Google, Google Desktop has been designed with the ability to search source code and information contained in .pdf, .ps, .man and .info documents. It also features the Quick Search Box ,which can be called up by pressing the Ctrl key twice.
Google Desktop is available in various languages such as English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.
